Welcome to the Frederick Family Forum, the website for the Frederick family. We are missionaries with the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention serving in the city of Manaus, Brazil. Manaus is located in the state of Amazonas which takes its name from the world's largest river--the Amazon. Manaus is a city of about 1.6 million in a state more than 2 and 1/2 times larger than the state of Texas! It is located where two large rivers converge to form the Amazon river and is in the middle of the Amazon Rainforest. What an exciting place to serve the Lord!
